Way out of the way with lovely views and decent food and drink. Traditional pub meets seaside b&b atmosphere. The rooms were lovely and cosy; everyone slept very well and ate well!!

We ordered the queen scallops and the plockton smokey for starters which were very tasty. Then for mains we had the salmon and sole parcels with thermidor sauce, and the fillet of sea bass with spinach daal. The menu was only available half an hour before the kitchen opened, as it is all freshly caught. Very impressed with the quality of food and the service, we are on our honeymoon and wanted to eat somewhere we wouldn't forget, the views while eating were breathtaking. Will definitely be recommending and hope to be back soon!

We booked a meal here for our last evening in Scotland on this trip. We saw the reviews & were really looking forward to the meal. However, on arrival we were met with what we can only describe as apathy towards us. We were pointed towards a table & were told someone would be along take our order. It was fairly quiet, only 2 other couples, we had to wait 20 mins before anyone came to take our order!! There seemed to be an abundance of staff, but only 2 working their socks off. The drinks arrived & the best bitter was off/or still had some cleaning fluid in it, dont know which. The lobster tails
