A funeral for a member of your family is the most difficult day of your life. Everything your family and friends ever thought about a loved one is expressed on that day. Whenever someone dies it comes as a great shock, sometimes the death may be expected, but nothing prepares you for the emotional shock of losing someone.

We have described below what we feel most people should expect from the different broad categories of funeral, but the most important thing to remember is that a funeral is personal, just because you call a funeral 'traditional' does not mean it is pre-decided what will happen. Almost all funerals will draw on elements from all categories.
Costs

During the funeral arrangements, our funeral director will discuss full details of the expected cost of the funeral. Occasionally we may need to clarify a cost before we can give you the information, but we will confirm the cost is acceptable before committing you to anything. You must feel comfortable with the funeral commitments you are undertaking.
Vehicles

We can help arrange a variety of different types of funeral vehicle hire, including traditional hearse for the coffin and a limousine for your family. We also offer alternative funeral transport to make the day exactly as you wish it to be. Our all-electric passenger vehicles are an eco-friendly alternative to a limousine.
Coffins

Most people will have given little or no thought to the coffin they want for themselves or a loved one, indeed many will not even realise there is a choice on the type of coffin they can have.
While making the funeral arrangements, the funeral director will talk to you about your thoughts on the coffin, to some it is almost meaningless, to others, extremely important; there is no right or wrong; but with options from solid oak, to wool, to no coffin at all, we will find something to meet your taste and budget.
