If you get a different letting agency I would recommend doing so. Tennens is OK. The staff was nice and helpful but when it came to emailing me for guidance or trying to keep me in the loop I felt like it was condescending. There was a time where I accidentally received mail that didn't belong to me and rather than saying in a kinder email how to send the mail they were very direct and it came off slightly accusatory. I also didn't like how they made arrangements for people to come to the house again the tone of the emails are gruff. In the USA noone is allowed to come to your house without your

Scammers! My fault for not reading the contract properly and asking the right questions. I left their property in an amazing condition, much much cleaner than when they gave it to me. But I was still charged a 150 'check out' fee. I still don't understand what this is for and 40 for that little mark next to the shower stall (I bet you can't even figure out which one). Disgusting appliances in the house, communal light bulbs were not changed. Had to complain about dead birds before they came to take care of the garden. Just felt very neglectful.
