We are a family-run riverside inn in Llandysul, Ceredigion, operating across three generations. Established by Iris and Bill James, our legacy continued through their son Andrew and his wife Louise, who revitalised the property over 30 years. Today, Rhodri and Sarah lead the team alongside Andrew and Louise, preserving our heritage while offering modern comforts. Our 16th-century building houses seven en-suite bedrooms, a log-fire bar serving local ales and ciders, and a riverside restaurant showcasing seasonal Welsh cuisine.As a hub for anglers, we provide permits and guidance for fishing on the River Teifi. Our listed building maintains its historic charm, with staff offering local expertise to enhance guests' experiences of west Wales.

We offer seven en-suite bedrooms across single, double, twin, and family configurations. Each room maintains original character features dating to the 16th century. Guests enjoy full Welsh breakfasts, free WiFi, and parking. Our listed building's historic charm includes original staircases without lift access.
Riverside restaurant
Our restaurant serves lunch and evening meals Thursday-Sunday. Menus feature seasonal Welsh produce with river views. We offer daily specials and a sample menu showcasing traditional dishes. Reservations are recommended for weekend dining.
Fishing permits
We provide permits and guidance for Llandysul Angling Association's 30-mile Teifi river stretch. Our team assists newcomers with directions and equipment advice. Regular anglers use our facilities for planning and socialising during fishing seasons.

Really liked it here, the food was good, the manager friendly, the room clean, the breakfast tasty. Only downside was the bed although comfy it was very squeaky every time you moved and the mattress rolled around a fair bit! Would recommend and would go again.

We stopped off for a spot of lunch on the riverside terrace. Although a limited menu the food was really tasty and locally sourced.

Nice clean rooms. Dinner was good, excellent fish and chips. Service was great with a smile and always attentive. Lovely place to stay
