Whitminster House is listed Grade II* and is a charming example of a family home that has evolved over the centuries. The manor dates from Saxon times and is mentioned in The Domesday Book.

Nearest Mainline Station from London Paddington is STONEHOUSE (between Stroud & Gloucester) c. 4 miles/10-15 mins drive away. There are several through trains each day, some requiring a change of platform at Swindon. N.B. Stonehouse has a short platform so move to the front of the train as it leaves Stroud.

Our fully-equipped, characterful Cottages accommodate from 2 to 49 guests (up to a maximum of 54) and can be booked individually or as a group. A Party Room in which to host special celebrations is included FREE when booking the West Wing Group.
There is lots to see and do for all ages within a short distance of the Cottages and lovely walks along the Stroudwater and Gloucester/Sharpness canals or to the nearest village (and its pub!) direct from your doorstep.The Cottages fall naturally into the West Wing Group and the Walk Farmhouse Group but each Cottage can be hired individually, or in whichever combination best suits your numbers.

Some properties have open fireplaces, with logs available @ 3.50 per bag - please see individual Cottages for details. Children: Up to 3 Cots & high chairs can be provided, subject to availability; no charge, but please book in advance. We are not permitted to provide Cot linen. Please bring stair-gates if required.
