Overall exemplary levels of cleanliness with obvious attention to all details with an excellent attention to public areas affording arriving guests an excellent initial pristine impression.

The licensed evening bar is a place where guests can enjoy a relaxing drink or if they wish they can socialise with fellow guests on a lovely summers evening on the patio within the south facing walled garden which is vibrant with flowers from spring through to autumn. We are sorry to inform you but we have had to close the Bar facility for the rest of the 2021 season.
Dining Room

The dining room is located in the lower ground floor and has been decorated in a cream and coffee colour scheme now making the room light and airy and the high back leather cream chairs complete the look. Each evening guests can select an option from our comprehensive breakfast menu located on the lectern in the hall for their following mornings hot breakfast choice.

Paignton is situated in the English Rivera on the south coast between Torquay and Brixham. The Briars is ideally situated overlooking Paignton Green, beach and pier with the harbour just a few yards away. The shops, town centre, Paignton Railway and Bus Stations, restaurants and entertainment are just a few minutes level walk away.
