We offer Cinderella Hair human extensions starting at 240 for seamless volume and length enhancement. Our technicians provide free consultations to determine the perfect match for your hair type and desired look, with application priced individually based on requirements.
Straightening
Brazilian blow dry treatments from 240 deliver frizz-free, glossy results lasting up to 12 weeks. This keratin-based service straightens hair while maintaining manageability, ideal for those seeking low-maintenance styling solutions with professional application.
Children's Services
Specialised children's cuts from 19 available after 4pm Tuesday-Thursday. Full adult pricing applies for Saturday appointments or out-of-hours bookings. Our stylists create a welcoming environment to make children's first salon experiences positive and stress-free.

We specialise in precision cutting, custom colouring, hair extensions, straightening treatments, and children's hair services with pricing starting from £19.
Do you require skin tests before colour services?
Yes, all colour treatments require a skin allergy test 48 hours prior to your appointment to ensure safety and prevent adverse reactions.
What are your cancellation policies?
Changes or cancellations must be made more than 72 hours before appointments. Failure to cancel within this window results in losing your 40% deposit.
Are there facilities available during appointments?
Our location within Great Hadham Golf Club provides complimentary parking, gym access, restaurant/bar services, and high-speed WiFi for client convenience.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, we provide digital gift vouchers in denominations of £10, £20, £50, and £100 available for purchase through our online booking system.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and thank you Sara for my brilliant colour , highlights and treatment for my bleached hair . Hair is in nice condition.No ugly parting regrowth too. It looks natural as is grows out. Cant recommend enough .

The BEST salon in Stortford. I have been coming to The Gilston Room for many years after a friend recommended me to try and it has been the best find since moving to Stortford! Relaxed, comfortable salon with the kindest team of ladies and amazing lay down chairs at the sink so you totally enjoy the head massage Chloe has taken my hair from dark to light to in between, short and long still maintaining my hair condition along the way. I have very thick long hair which at times hairdressers can find tricky to blow dry..

Very friendly and welcoming salon. Nothing is too much trouble. You are always greeted with a warm welcome and the stylists are more than happy to take the time to discuss your wants and needs, to ensure you get the best experience from your appointment. Always up-to-date with the latest products and they serve pretty good coffee too.
