History

Extensive coastal fortifications, which date from the late 1700's to early 1800's with commanding views over the Channel and Dover. Fascinating, discovered by the Kent Archaeological Rescue Unit in 1970 (KARU) and built about A. Kent Battle of Britain Museum Based at Hawkinge Airfield the museum hosts the country's largest collection of 1940 related items.

As you reach Dover, go straight ahead at 2 roundabouts - turn left at York Street Junction traffic lights. Go straight ahead to roundabout and take 2nd exit (Priory). At the traffic lights, turn right into Ladywell (signposted for Police station). At next traffic lights turn right but keep left - we are approx 100 mtres on the left.

We offer Single, Double & Twin through to Large Family Ensuites sleeping 3 - 4 persons. We have 'budget' Single & Twin rooms, each with Private (lockable) bathrooms across small landing.
