Country Ways
Our 5 comfortable, stone cottages have been tastefully converted from the original stables and barns into self-catering accommodation for our guests. Each holiday cottage is fully equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay here in North Devon. Set within our stunning mature gardens, with glorious views across the North Devon countryside, our five self-catering cottages are perfect for short breaks and longer stays.

Tastefully converted from old stone milking barns and stabling, the holiday cottages are comfortable, well equipped and each have their own unique character. In every cottage you'll find a guide to North Devon, a booklet of places to visit and a guest handbook; central heating with adjustable thermostats; well-equipped modern kitchens and comfortable beds with soft, fresh linen.
Services
The Warren
Report
The Warren is our largest cottage with three good sized bedrooms, perfect for families and popular with groups. It sleeps seven to nine people and has a king-sized room, a double room with bunk beds and a single bedroom on the ground floor with its own en-suite bathroom. The shared bathroom is located upstairs, in between the two bedrooms.
Cuckoo’s Nest
Report
Cuckoo's Nest has an upside-down layout, with vaulted ceilings and rustic beams in the open-plan living area upstairs. You can take in the countryside views from all of the bedrooms and the lounge is bright and airy with velux windows between the beams. This holiday cottage comfortably sleeps six to eight guests with three large bedrooms, one king-sized room, one double room and a bunk room.
The Dray
Report
The Dray is a light and cosy cottage and is a favourite with couples, perfect for romantic weekends away! This cottage sleeps two people, but also has a small double sofa-bed for an extra two people if needed (so it's a good choice for small families too). Down a few stairs from the front door is the double bedroom and en-suite bathroom, with a standard size bath and shower.
Weddings & Events
Report
The combination of the amazing setting, having your own little village of cottages, a beautiful Barn and the stunning views across the North Devon countryside, makes Country Ways a spectacular and unique venue for a wedding or event. Whether you dream of a relaxed family gathering with traditional local pasties, cider and a cream tea, or a country chic festival-style wedding with 5* fine dining in a tipi or vintage marquee.
Retreats
Report
We offer the venue for retreats during our off peak season (between October and the end of March/April). During peak season weekends are usually booked up with weddings and holiday-makers. There is occasionally a weekend available during our peak season (April - September) and usually there is availability for midweek retreats too.
