We asked Polar to help us on a challenging project where they essentially had one chance to get it right. Not fazed by this the Polar team embraced the job and employed a blend of process-controlled engineering and stunning craftsmanship. To find that perfect balance of engineering and craftmanship would have been tough enough, but to do all that and get it right first time took something extra special. Thanks to the Polar team.

Needing to modify the mouldings for an aircraft cockpit and engine covers and no drawings, some
existing parts that didnt appear to match those on the aircraft, it was decided that a 3D scan of the
actual aircraft would be beneficial.
Having been informed that Polar processed the necessary equipment and they were local to us, we
approached them to see if they were interested in the project, they were most helpful from the
outset. The Scan of the aircraft was carried out quickly and efficiently, both externally and internally and
also managed to scan some ancillary parts while onsite all
existing parts that didnt appear to match those on the aircraft, it was decided that a 3D scan of the

Ever since my first visit to Polar Manufacturing, they have never been less than completely positive and professional. The work they carry out for me is definitely on the smaller side of what they are used to, but I am always made to feel like my work is important to them. The work is always carried out to very high standard and delivered on time. I really wouldnt want to use anyone else.

I photographed and did a 360 degree tour of their factory and couldn't believe how spotlessly clean and well laid out it was. For a company making high end carbon fibre products cleanliness is key. Also with the 360 tour you can see that there are no grubby areas in the manufacturing plant. Definitely a 5 star company.
