I have been designing and making gardens as Earthworks Garden Design since 2003 and I offer bespoke, client focussed garden design throughout Yorkshire from my base in Leeds. As part of my professional qualifications I worked as a gardener at the Royal Horticultural Society's Harlow Carr Gardens in Harrogate.
After achieving my qualifications, and after twelve years of designing gardens professionally, I was invited by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) to deliver garden design courses. For five years, until 2020, I wrote and delivered two highly popular courses on behalf of the RHS: An Introduction to Garden Design; and Forging Ahead with Garden Design.

I offer a flexible set of services including garden design consultancy, horticultural consultancy, Concept Plans, Detailed Master Plans, and Planting Plans. I can prepare Tender Documents using the same process as an architect uses in order to obtain competitive prices for garden making. I will also work with you to design an area of your garden, such as a border, and will supply plants.
