The WAM 800 is a cutting-edge instrument which carries out an examination of the front of your eye, measuring your prescription, calculating any eye strain and exploring how your vision is affected in different light conditions, for example, when driving at night. This state-of-the-art machine also measures potential risks of developing common eye diseases, such as cataracts and glaucoma, in a painless and non-invasive way.

All our equipment and rooms are sanitised between each patient to keep you and us as safe as possible. Almost all our equipment allows the Optometrist to stay at least 1m from you.

Our myopia Management service is about slowing, or stopping, the increase in myopia (short sightedness) of growing children - usually with specially designed contact lenses. We have been providing myopia management for over 12 years and have a large number of successful wearers, including our own children.
Blephex

Blepharitis and dry eye are become much more common after the age of 40 but with increased computer use we are seeing much younger patients with sore red eyes and crusty lids. Our Blephex treatment is designed to remove the excess bacteria; biofilm and bacterial toxins (which make your eyes itch and water) which make up the lash crusts quickly and painlessly.
