Stop that waste! Old tyres? Fantastic! They'll provide a load of fun. These kids are from Karm Marg, one of our suppliers in India. It's a home for street children, whose aim is to make them self-reliant in life. It's funded by upcycling paper, textiles and other scraps into bags and other products, and (like the children, who've all had a pretty tough time earlier on in their lives), giving them a second chance.

About
Report
Shared Earth began as a small shop in York in 1986. Jeremy Piercy, founder and Managing Director, travelled to India after leaving school and wanted to do something to help redress the imbalance of wealth in the world, work together with people from different cultures, and at the same time earn a living.
Mosaic Homeware
Report
These beautiful handmade pieces are made in Bali by small family units. Sheets of glass are hand cut into the smaller mosaic tiles you see on the final product. They're very skilled and will often sit on the floor in their gardens and hand place the tiles in such an amazing artistic way as to produce the final flawless piece and get it pretty perfect every time.
Organic Goodness Fragrance
Report
Handmade in India, this range of Organic Goodness incense, candles, wax melts, scented bracelets and bags, reed diffusers, oils and air fresheners is environmentally friendly, non toxic, made from natural products, and is in recycled packaging. You'll fall in love with these exotic scents that smell divine.
Reusable Travel Cups
Report
Our Rice Husk coffee cups contain no plastics and are BPA and toxin free, so nothing nasty to leach into your drink. Unlike bamboo cups (at least all we are aware of) our rice husk cups are genuinely biodegradable as they do not contain melamine, which is a plastic. Our Testing: The bamboo cups, which we used to use, all ended up with nasty stains in them which could only be removed with even nastier chemicals.
