With over 15 years' experience in childcare, I lead Pelican Place Nursery since 2013. Holding Level 3 and 4 qualifications, I implement innovative practices that improve child outcomes while supporting staff development and family engagement.

What age groups do you cater for?
We provide childcare for children aged 9 months to 4 years, with dedicated spaces for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Are meals included in nursery fees?
Yes, we provide three nutritious meals daily plus snacks, all prepared by our onsite chef to meet dietary requirements and preferences.
Do you offer funded childcare places?
We accept government-funded childcare schemes including 15 and 30-hour entitlements, Tax Free Childcare, and childcare vouchers.
How do you support children's learning?
Our bespoke curriculum combines structured activities with free play, focusing on individual development across all EYFS areas through tailored resources and experienced practitioners.
Can parents visit the nursery?
We host regular open days and offer personal tours by appointment. Our next open day is Saturday 22nd November 9am-1pm.

We have had two children go through Pelican Place, and have been involved with them for the last four years. I can highly recommend the care given there, the thoughtfulness of the staff and the educational nature of their programme, especially during the year before school. If you are looking for a nursery this would be a great one to pick!
