The Derby Brewery Arms is a large, open plan pub just a 10-minute walk from Manchester Victoria train station. On the corner next to the Joseph Holt Brewery, there's no doubt that you'll get a very well-kept, well-priced beer in a friendly pub atmosphere. The Griffin is a splendid Victorian pub with a host of heritage features including a magnificent mahogany bar, sash serving windows and marble fireplaces.
This five-room pub has an open plan area as well as smaller, quieter rooms with fixed seating. To the back is a great sun-trap of a beer garden. Located on Manchester Road Swinton, the Morning Star is a community favourite pub and food venue. The red brick pub dates back to 1890, but inside there's a fresh, modern feel while retaining plenty of character and charm.

Brewery
Report
Our Brewery, at the bottom of Cheetham Hill Road, Manchester has been home to Joseph Holt since 1860. Over the years, it has evolved and grown to become the modern Brewery it is today, although still surrounded by some of the original buildings. Still being housed at the original Brewery means we never lose sight of what's important.
Manchester Bee Glass
Report
The idea of the Manchester worker bee as a symbol of the city dates back to the Industrial Revolution - factories were often referred to as beehives because workers were so industrious. In 1842 the bee was first officially incorporated into the Manchester coat of arms. Almost 180 years later and we've created this glass to turn our golden beer into the immortal bee to pay tribute to our proud roots in the city.
Charities
Report
Every year, our customers, brewery, pub staff and free trade team proudly get behind our chosen charity appeal, with the aim of raising funds for local communities in the North West. You probably don't need reminding that 2020 was a particularly tough year for many people. As a proud community member, Joseph Holt wanted to reflect this in our 2021 charity appeal and as such have chosen to support food banks and food clubs across the region.
