At Shamrock we want you and your pet to want to come to the vet, because you like us! We aim to make coming to see us fun yet relaxing. We have treats for those who want them and space, tranquility and gentle handling for our more nervous patients. Please come and meet us. Maurice Kelly was the founding partner in 1994 and his wife Pamela Singleton joined him in 1999 as a partner.

Our practice is in a recognisable building located on the A59 Knaresborough Road, just opposite the turning into Lancaster Park Road to Harrogate Hospital. Shamrock Veterinary Clinic signs are located at the front and rear of the building. We have our own private car park at the rear of the building on Hurstleigh Terrace.

We asked them to carry out an Animal Health Certificate as we were traveling to Spain. However when we got to the port we were told that we couldn't travel because the stamp was the same colour as the ink used to complete the form.
So we had to away and have it done in Portsmouth. Now they have refused to give me a refund and have passed it on to their Insurance Company.

Delt with the sick end of life care of our much loved elderly gerbil with great care and compassion. Knowledgeable, experienced, professional vets and staff and fairly priced. They kindly covered him up with a little blanket ready for burial in our garden, gave us a lovely poem & a condolence card, which really helped a devasted little boy cope with the loss of his much loved pet. I would truly recommend them and won't hesitate to use them again. Thanks again!

We moved to Shamrock vets a few years ago from another vets in Harrogate who kept insisting on expensive and unnecessary treatments and became very pushy and nasty if we questioned them.
All of the staff at Shamrock are wonderful. Very friendly, chatty and all really care about your pets. I can't recommend this clinic enough :)

Incredibly impressed with the level of service and standard of care. Maurice was willing to come out to put my aged cat to sleep in his home environment where he felt safe and loved. His owner aftercare was also very kind and supportive. Now have two kittens who have just been spayed there and look forward to them leading long and happy lives with Shamrock providing for all their veterinary needs.
