The firm is led by John Cathcart who founded Cathcarts in 1980. Peter Cathcart joined in 1982 and Marilynn Cathcart has worked with the firm throughout it's existence. The firm of Cathcarts was started by John Cathcart in 1980 and since 1981 has operated from 2 Swakeleys Road, Ickenham, North West London. John was joined by his brother, Peter, in 1982, formerly a partner in a firm in the West End of London. Commercial and residential conveyancing, both freehold and leasehold, probate and wills are significant areas of practice of the firm.

We act for individuals, companies and clients from various parts of the world, including foreign government owned entities. This work is undertaken by John Cathcart and Peter Cathcart, both of whom have over 40 years' experience in all residential and commercial transactions. The sale and purchase of properties has been a paticular feature of the firms work over many years.

Legal costs are generally based upon time spent by the Partner and the support staff dealing with your matter together with the particular complexity involved. Costs vary between Freehold and Leasehold matters. More time is involved in Leasehold matters. Costs are also partly dependent upon the value of the property involved.
