Great value and a team keen to please. The owner even got up early to provide a cooked breakfast when we had an early departure...really going the extra yard.

A great evening. The specials board provided us with our main courses. Solid starters and varied dessert selection. My wife and I didn't have a dessert (full up). Good drinks selection - mine was a large house red. Tables had plenty of separation space. Rapid table service. Ample parking. Reasonable prices (55 for 2). Recommended.

Staff and food lovely but bar restaurant has no atmosphere, only wooden chairs to sit on, no cushioning. Garden rooms face the quad with outdoor seating. Lace curtains are the only cover for the large windows which lookout onto the quad with a table and chairs placed right by the window. Checked and body silhouettes visible when room light is on which made us very uncomfortable. Also absolutely no phone or WiFi signal from rooms.
