I am in Norfolk visiting my Dad, during the journey down from London on Friday evening my car suffered a miss firing engine. I phoned postmill garage on the Saturday morning at 08.45 and they were able to fit my car in, diagnose the problem an fix it all before 12.00. A fantastic service and all at a great price.

The service to check the MOT history of a vehicle has been updated to reflect the changes. Cars, vans, motorcycles and other light passenger vehicles won't need to have an MOT if they're over 40 years old and have not been substantially changed.

We would look at your wheel bearings, exhaust system, battery condition.

Whilst timely servicing is very important, there are certain checks and maintenance you can do regularly to help keep your car in good condition. Check your oil levels around about every two weeks and ensure the levels are between the minimum and the maximum on your dipstick. If you're going on a long journey, you should top up if needed there too.
