My 85 year old father took his car here to get an mot and oil change. When they replaced the oil filter they didnt take out the old rubber washer (something I discovered later, and a very basic, amateur mistake ). This then caused the oil light to come on. He took it back and they said it was the timing chain, which they replaced (800) and still the oil light came on... and so on... The unnecessary expense for my parents was shocking but the stress of it all was probably worse. Always best to take a car to a dealership I reckon. It is a bit more but at least they know what they are doing

Booked MOT, dropped car off for MOT, told 45 minutes roughly. 2 hours later I CALLED THEM, for an update, to be told car had Failed on something .GOV states isnt a failure, tried to explain this over the phone but was met with a rude attitude and told that I needed to put the issue right before they would pass it. Turned up to to put the issue right to find the guy on the phone to DVLA enquiring about the issue, came off the phone and I was told the issue was no longer an issue and handed a Pass Certificate. No apology, or recognition of the attitude over the phone. Whilst

Do not recommend. Cross threaded the sump plug during a service, noticed their mistake but rather than be honest and tell us they just unscrewed it added an additional washer and forced it in. Obviously realising this was not the best solution to the problem they didn't tell us a thing about it, a little while later we have an oil leak and need a new sump on the bottom of the engine.
