What are your food service hours?
Monday-Thursday 12:00-15:00 & 17:00-20:00, Friday-Saturday 12:00-21:00, Sunday 12:00-19:00. Live music nights finish at 20:00.
Can I book the function room?
Yes, with a £50 deposit. Free hire for groups over 30 with catering. Private bar access available for bookings over 30 or £100 fee for smaller groups.
Do you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes, we offer gluten-free menus and can cater for vegetarian and special dietary needs when notified in advance.
What beers do you serve?

Brilliant pub. We call in from time to time with our Cocker spaniels and always feel welcome. Nice atmosphere and cosy fire.

In these extraordinary times I was tempted to hold back. However Im mindful that the public use this site to make decisions about where they spend their harm earned cash. So Im being honest. The food was warm, a plus. The starter chicken terrine was a jellified grey lump which resembled something the cat played a role in. Unappetising but in fairness tasted ok, wouldnt recommend. The main (Xmas dinner) very uninteresting/bland. Desert ok nothing special. But far and above what stood out was the terrible service. Top quality home cooked food. Some of the best roast potatoes Ive ever eaten and or course, many fantastic pint to be sampled with it being a Timothy Taylors pub

Nipped in for lunch after a walk round St Ives. The food was really nice but staff were a little bit slow. Would definitely go again.
