Whether or not to neuter your pet can be a difficult and, sometimes emotional, decision to make. We recognise this and are ready to talk through the pros and cons with you. Neutering involves removal of the testicles in male animals (castration) and removal of the ovaries and uterus in female animals (spaying).
Pet Insurance Guide
Report
Pet insurance provides cover for veterinary fees in the event that your pet becomes injured or unwell. It can provide peace of mind that you're in a position to afford all the veterinary care your pet may need. With veterinary medicine employing expensive medical techniques and medication, and with pet owners caring more and more about their pets' health, pet insurance is becoming increasingly popular.
Insurance Claims Guide
Report
If your insurer asks you to complete your claim online, what we need from you will be greatly simplified. Please note the process may differ between insurers. Attach the clinical history, along with a copy of any payments you've made (you do not have to keep any receipts). Please note the processing of direct claims is discretionary and based on the relationship between the insurer and the clinic.
Pet Nutrition
Report
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
Pet Advice
Report
From environmental substances like pollen, mould or dust mites, to parasites such as fleas and mites, or food allergies, there are lots of things that can cause pet allergies. If your dog or cat is gnawing at their skin, chewing its paws or scratching generally, it may be suffering from an allergy skin condition.

After the shambles of an attempted registration at Johnston Vet in Wellingborough that even the branch manager failed to call me back I did manage to find Rushden Vets who DO NOT charge £50 to register. Took my pooch to the surgery, it's clean, staff are very friendly and vet is extremely thorough. Highly recommend this practice.

Took new puppy Yogi just for a check up to make sure that all was OK and the vet was brilliant. You generally don't get anything for free in life but this check up was free and thorough and friendly and informative. A little bit of effort today and they will be getting our business again in the future when we do have to pay. A little bit of nice goes a long way in this busy modern world.
