The venue and grounds are beautiful and the barn sets itself apart from other 'barn' venues by not being open and filled with glass but instead is cosy and old-feeling, which is why we wanted our dark, midwinter wedding here. The front of House staff were lovely and the food was exemplary. The loss of a star was down to a lack of communication from the management of the venue regarding their broken speaker system, which we were only told of the afternoon before the wedding, leaving no time to sort an adequate replacement ourselves - with no support from said venue management.
