I dont often write reviews, but after such an amazing experience at Avalon I felt the need. My room was outstanding, breakfast was excellent. I was in Inverness to cycle the NC500 and stayed for a night at each end of my ride. Val and Paul could not have been more accommodating, I left my car for the week. The icing on the cake was a card of congratulations and a couple of beers to celebrate my achievement, very touching. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area. Thanks so much

Absolutely beautiful guesthouse, attention to every little detail, room so comfortable and bed is like a cloud! Decor is modern and traditional, the breakfast was fantastic - I really cannot say enough about how warm and welcoming Val and Paul are, they were such wonderful hosts! I now wouldn't stay anywhere else in Inverness!

Stayed here for New Year. Such a beautiful guesthouse. Owners are lovely and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from. Rooms are very clean and spacious with alot of attention to detail on decor. Would highly recommend.

I found the whole experience pleasing from start to finish. I have mobility problems and managed the walk along the river from central Inverness. So much to see and do. The proprietors are friendly and helpful. We had a tiny problem in our room which was remedied immediately. Would definitely stay again
