Harwood Golf Club is an interesting and varied 18 hole, 5,937 yards, par 70 club founded in 1926 by 4 local shopkeepers. Set on the edge of the West Pennine Moors, the club offers fabulous scenic views across the surrounding countryside and a challenge for golfers at every skill level. Well groomed fairways and greens keep the course challenging yet friendly.

Dale Affleck turned professional in 2011 and immediately began to increase his knowledge of the many areas that make up the modern PGA Professional.
After a spell as assistant professional at Golf Rossendale Driving Range where he ran a very successful junior golf academy, feeding the majority of the local golf clubs new talent, Dale then moved on to work under the highly reputable Darren Hopwood at Penwortham Golf Club, where he continued to build on his skills and knowledge of the golf swing.

As well as being a popular venue for weddings we are also a popular venue for Christenings, parties, fundraisers, charity events, and funerals. Our comfortable lounge offers the ideal venue with a view, as it overlooks our scenic 18th fairway. You can choose either from our hot or cold buffet menu to our sit down dining option from our caterers Sara & Helen, who will work with you to create a bespoke menu just for your special event.
