Braithwaite is a small, friendly village only two miles from Keswick centre. There are three good pubs all of which offer food, at least one very good restaurant and a well stocked village shop. Only minutes away is the Whinlatter Forest Visitor Centre, with its forest walks, childrens adventure areas, tea room and shop, a great place for a family day out.
