I found their behaviour disgraceful after waiting for 5 weeks for my bed after being promised that it would only take 2-3weeks. The most horrific racist behaviour towards me after asking for a refund as I realised that the product that they had delivered was clearly made from cheap pine not the guaranteed solid oak. After paying a significant amount for oak bed frame I was infuriated to see that it was in fact pine. The shop assistant pointed to all the other products telling me that it's all pine which seemed ridiculous seeing as the shop display was specifically targeted towards oak furniture

I would recommend Matthews - found them on our doorstep after going to other showrooms miles away and finding same old quality stuff that won't last five minutes. We'd already replaced two DFS sofas, one before we're paid off the finance, and because they are all sewn up they cannot be easily repaired. Matthews had sofas with proper springs and removable cushions and you can choose the cushion filling and replace the cushions without replacing the sofa! Sofas made to order in the UK, quality made, the ones we bought are as good as they were when we bought them :)

Friendly service and helpful. I was allowed to take the swatches home to check which colour would match in my house. Furniture is competitively priced and i found a sofa that was actually really comfortable and quite cheap. However i was originally told that delivery would be 2 months and it was finally delivered after 6 months and a lot of moaning. So if you don't mind waiting a good place to buy furniture.
