We received a warm welcome from Mark...he met us in the car park and sorted the parking ticket. Mark showed us into the property (all covid safe) lovely entrance and lots of character and great art work.
...yes the stairs to our room were pretty steep! But hey all those extra calories from lock down had piled on so certainly a positive!!! Mark provided a map and recommendations of where would be nice to take a walk. The room was really pleasant, it had everything we required for an overnight stay. The decor was tasteful and really thought through. It was SPOTLESS!!!..... Nice quality bedding

Mark was very accommodating, couldn't do enough to make sure we were well taken care of. Rooms changed and cleaned daily, hotel was spotless. Very polite staff, even offered to carry bags to room and to car upon leaving. A premium service, and lovely hotel thank you.

Nice little gust house very well placed for station, shops, restaurants and near the theatre. Steep stairs, so no good for bulky luggage. Nice friendly manager. Restricted check in hours. Breakfast is continental only, but good cafe down the road if you want a gargantuan English breakfast.
