Went here for dinner on a Monday night; amazing food in an unhurried and easygoing environment, the service was exceptional without being overbearing. It wasnt cheap but I didnt mind paying for service and quality. I will be going again.

Wonderful service. We had afternoon champagne tea. Which consisted of a selection of beautifully made sandwiches and a plethora of cakes. Our waitress was wonderfully lovely as well. Extremely recommended

Had a murder mystery night in here with a few of our friends. Beautiful food. And a great night in all. A shame about not many drinks being on availability but we made the night work anyway.

We were delighted with the Hartnoll. It is quite simply a beautiful and relaxing place to spend a few days in Devon. We stayed in a suite which had a spa bath, a huge comfortable bed, a lounge and kitchenette. The loft windows cleverly opened up into a balcony overlooking the grounds where we sat and enjoyed a bottle of bubbly. During our stay I spoke to Claire, a kind and caring well-dressed lady who showed us to our room and helped carry a bag. I later found out she was the owner and she told me about how she had spent much time and energy renovating the building from just a shell 14 years

Whilst the hotel is very pretty and the rooms and grounds are beautiful, the most exceptional thing about this place is the service. The staff simply go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. They literally went out of their way with everything!!
