Welcome to The Portland Hotel, a small family run hotel located in the harbour village of Lybster made famous during the filming of Netflix hit The Crown. Sitting perfectly on the North Coast 500 route at the Quatre Bras crossroad the hotel is ideally placed being just a short drive from Wick, John O' Groats, Thurso and the perfect destination for an overnight stay when catching the early ferry to Orkney and further afield to Shetland.
The hotel holds a unique history and is known for its award winning locally sourced food, hearty portions with comfortable, individually styled rooms and friendly staff. A lovely place. First impressions, the car park was spotless. Our room was again good quality with comfortable beds and a nice en suite bathroom.
