CNC Milling
Utilizing advanced machining centres with 12,000 RPM spindle speeds, our CNC milling services create complex 3D components from materials like aluminium and stainless steel. Our YCM NSV102a and Bridgeport VMC800 machines, equipped with fourth-axis rotary tables, enable multi-surface machining. This technology supports both prototyping and high-volume production for industries requiring precision engineering in challenging geometries.
5 Axis Milling
Our DMU50 and Matsuura MX-330 5-axis systems enable simultaneous multi-directional machining. With 10-pallet automation and 15,000 RPM spindle speeds, we produce complex aerospace and motorsport components. The Acura 65 systems capabilities include high-precision prototypes while maintaining tolerances within 0.0060.013mm. This technology reduces setup requirements and improves surface finish quality for intricate geometries.
CNC Turning
From 26mm bar capacity to 720mm swing lathes, our CNC turning services handle both small and large components. The Doosan PUMA 3100 accommodates 1,275mm turning lengths while maintaining accuracy. Goodway GS2600-YS machines with Y-axis milling capabilities produce complex turned parts. Manual lathes including Colchester Triumph 2000 support high-precision prototyping for larger components requiring tactile operator adjustments.
EDM
Our Agie Charmilles EDM systems provide non-contact machining for hardened materials. The CUT 300 SP wire eroder handles 500x350x400mm workpieces with 0.15m precision. The FORM E350 spark eroder accommodates 800x500x265mm components for mold-making and tooling applications. These systems enable complex cavity machining in conductive materials without mechanical stress, complementing traditional machining capabilities.
Quality Assurance
Certified to ISO9001:2015 by Certification International, our quality systems include Mitutoyo Status CMM machines with PC Demis software. Separate inspection facilities feature calibrated gauges and dedicated technicians trained in aerospace and scientific sector requirements. We provide full traceability documentation and accept customer-specific inspection protocols, with optional third-party verification services for critical components.

Managing Director
With engineering experience since 1986, Tony founded A C Precision Engineering in 1996 after apprenticeship at UKAEA and senior roles at Oxfordshire engineering firms. His leadership has driven three facility expansions and strategic machinery investments.
