We are members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen and care about our customers and the service they receive. After 32 years in business, we pride ourselves that we are truly a family concern, and at least 9 of our 10 staff are family members.
As already stated, our business is run by one family and the Herdmans are proud of our reputation for being friendly, reliable, easygoing and efficient. When you come into our shop you will usually be seen by the same person who actually comes to estimate for you. We like to do this because that way you will have already met the person who will be coming to your home, which helps to make you feel more comfortable and at ease.

We supply and fit all brands of carpets and natural flooring to suit every budget. Within our Carpet Showroom we have displays and samples of Crucial Trading, Westex, Cormar, Alternative Flooring, Louis De Poortere, Telenzo, Brintons, Master Weaver, & Kersaint Cobb manufacturers to name a few.
We encourage our customers to take as many samples home and look at them in the comfort of their own home against with their decor before making any decisions.We are also happy to bring carpet samples to you when we come out to estimate.

Installation

We undertake all flooring work, from a small bathroom to large commercial contracts such as schools, colleges and residential care homes. Supplying and fitting all types of Carpet, Vinyl, Marmoleum, Cork, Wood, Bamboo and Laminate Flooring. Sanding, varnishing and finishing of existing floorboards, also undertaking any sub-floor repair work required ie screeding and repairing joists etc.

Newly-laid carpets sometimes develop what appear to be patches, which happens after the tufts have been compressed in different directions. As soon as the carpet is vacuumed, the tufts will return to their upright position, so we recommend that you vacuum your new carpet as soon as it's laid. Regular vacuuming is good for your carpet.
