Our story begins way back in 1971 when a young Alan Sandford discovered a passion and talent for metal work at school. Since then this passion and commitment has seen Alan grow into one of the country's finest Craftsmen and respected Master Goldsmiths. Skip forward 37 years to 2008 and the Sandford & Ogden partnership is born.
The business was originally named Monton Designer Jewellery; this was then changed in 2015 to use the family names. Family values, integrity and trust remain at the epicentre of how we run our business. At Sandford & Ogden we combine decades of expertise and experience with the enthusiasm and innovation of youth to create and showcase some of the finest jewellery and most prestigious luxury watches to be found anywhere in the world.

Alan Sandford is a leading North West Jeweller and Goldsmith. Alan's story started back in 1972 where he became an apprentice with a top Jewellery Company in Manchester & was taught by a Master Goldsmith from the world renowned Hatton Garden.
Alan successfully trained with him for many years, then progressed into being in charge of a workshop in Bramhall with a high profile business, Cottirill's, where Alan passed his knowledge and style onto Goldsmiths across the business.10yrs later, Alan became a truly recognised and respected Goldsmith and set up his own independent workshop in Manchester, above Hancocks, one of Manchester's top Jewellers.
