The coaching is designed to be as fun as possible, develop technical ability and cater for the needs of every child. At first I thought golf was for old people now I come every week because I have so much fun and have made lots of new friends! The course is amazing and everybody dressed up for Halloween it was great.

Our course has always been maintained to a high standard, its often the main reasons why our members join and our visitors return time after time. The club continues to invest into the development of the course but always ensuring it offers a fair test of golf for all ages and abilities. The flyovers were created a number of years ago so we ask you to kindly acknowledge that they do not fully reflect the course layout as we see it today.

Great Barr Golf Club is a private members club run by the members for the benefit of all. We offer membership categories to suit all ages and abilities. The Club offers a full programme of competitions, matches and social calendar designed to engender an all inclusive friendly atmosphere for all members.
Mens Section
Report
As a playing member, you will be able to participate in our many handicap competitions. But there are also ample non qualifying competitions held throughout the year if you wish to play for fun. We enter teams in the Scratch League and West Midlands League, as well as regular B Team fixtures against other local clubs.
Ladies Section
Report
We play on a Wednesday morning, on an informal basis with our competitions being predominantly played on Sundays. So for new members there are plenty of opportunities to play and make new friends either on the course or at our many social events. We enter teams into both the Scratch and Inter Club competitions, but also play friendly matches throughout the year which we encourage all our ladies, regardless of handicap, to participate in.
