We are a small animal practice based in the East Midlands. Our main site is in Long Eaton and was first established in 1979. We also have a small branch surgery in Chilwell. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals.
We strive to provide excellent continuity of care and therefore are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care. To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.

Ark Veterinary Clinics is a long established, RCVS accredited small animal practice, located centrally in between Nottingham and Derby. Our main first-opinion practice is based in Long Eaton and our smaller branch surgery provides first-opinion care for clients in and around the Chilwell/Beeston areas.

Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgeries we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Repeat Prescriptions

Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
Emergencies

In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call your local surgery on 0115 9225900 (Chilwell) or 0115 9723650 (Long Eaton) and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact MiNightVet Nottingham on 0115 9430898.
