Services
Our Story
Report
Rebecca Bill opened the Hunny Pot Day Nursery in Wigston in 2005. After eight successful years of providing high quality child care provision, she decided to extend her services to the neighbouring village of Kibworth in 2013. With the new government in place, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted inspection framework changed once again in 2012, this time with a greater emphasis of teaching and learning in all child care provisions.
Testimonials
Report
We are strong believers in word of mouth and are very proud of the reviews and feedback we have received over the years, below is just a small snippet of those. My youngest daughter has just joined the nursery and has fitted in without any trauma. She is happy and well looked after and I am impressed with how flexible the staff are with regards to her individual needs.
Parental Involvement
Report
The Hunny Nurseries are great believers that you are your child's primary educators that build strong foundations to their learning and development. We aim to build and forge strong links with our partnerships with you and your family and provide as many opportunities as possible towards your child's development.
Attendance
Report
At the Hunny Nurseries we believe that we should create a culture in which good attendance is normality to our children and is valued and understood by all. We strive to achieve good attendance from our families so that they can take full advantage of the opportunities available to them which will result in rapid progress within the children's development.
E-Safety
Report
At the Hunny Nurseries we see that the use of the internet and technology is a wonderful learning resource for our children to learn, grow and develop in our care. Teaching our children and their parents the importance of E Safety means that we can continue to use the internet for learning and the children can freely explore the use of technology in our setting and at home.
