Printdesigns Limited was formed in 1999 as a start-up business run by husband and wife team Mark and Charlotte Thompson. From a 2 person team working from small office premises with a single large format ink-jet printer, we have grown to become one of the UK's leading large format print and display companies with a turnover exceeding 2M p/a and a compliment of around 15 staff.
Unlike some online print companies or large 'trade' printers, we aim to provide a very personal level of service that other companies cannot offer and we can accommodate both small and large order requirements. This process involves printing liquid ink onto substrate which is then exposed to UV light to 'cure' the ink from a liquid to a solid state. We offer UV printing at widths up to 3.2 Metres onto sheet or roll based materials. UV printed inks are durable for use indoors or outdoors and are resistant to fading.
