Our reception, lounge and bar have had a stylish make-over, whilst many of our bedrooms have had a fresh new look, bringing out their individual character and the distinctive nature of the historic building.

Originally a Posting Inn, for over 380 years The White Hart Hotel has offered weary travellers and bold adventurers a place to rest their heads. Perfect for groups, parties or families looking for a stay away together, the Mews is a contemporary conversion offering eight rooms and a communal open plan seating area. The Mews can be booked as a whole space and has eight bedrooms with an open plan communal lounge area.

Dogs welcome

Dogs and Dartmoor go together - and well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome at the White Hart Hotel. Dartmoor is great walking country and we have lots of guests who bring their four-legged friends with them on holiday. Dogs are welcome everywhere in the hotel, except in the dining room but as we serve the same menu throughout the restaurant and the bar area you won't miss out.
