Our rooms are welcoming, homely areas, where we can nurture your children from months old right up to five years. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and boast our own outdoor play area for the children to explore.
Barrowford Nursery has been providing Outstanding childcare to the families of Barrowford and the surrounding area for over 30 years. Our nursery is managed by mother and daughter team, Marjorie and Karen, who are supported by dedicated and long-serving, deputy managers, Elaine and Lisa.

We offer both term time and full time options, ensuring that our families get the best possible choice and value for money. Our days are made up of activities and routines which include child chosen and adult led activities, both indoors and outdoors. These are put in place to ensure high-quality provision and an enjoyable experience for each and every child and their families.
Sessions

We offer both a term time and full time option at Barrowford Nursery, ensuring that our families get the best possible support they can from us whilst remaining value for money. We also offer extended hours of provision, opening at 7.45am until 5.30pm. During these hours we offer a huge variety of session times.
Routines

We organise the day so that children can take part in a variety of child chosen and adult led activities, both indoors and out in the environment. Practitioners work closely in partnership with parents to ensure that individual routines from home are maintained in nursery i.e. for sleep/rest.
At Barrowford Nursery every child receives a healthy, balanced snack within the morning and afternoon session, free of charge, to keep their little bodies full of energy and ready to learn!The children also have access to drinking water which is available throughout the day. Nutritious, well planned nursery meals are available, for a small charge, at lunch and tea each day.

Our nurturing baby unit offers a warm and welcoming environment where your precious bundle can begin to explore their new world in safety and comfort. Our Jelly Bear room is the perfect transition room from our Jelly Baby room to our Jelly Tot room, encouraging development and maintaining secure attachments with nursery keyworkers.
