Notice how the good reviews are mostly written by people with Eastern European or foreign sounding names? That's because this lot are more than happy to mug you off if you're homegrown; more so if you're elderly.
Having booked a taxi for our folks (both in their 80s and unable to walk far) to pick them up from a birthday meal we were not attending ourselves, they were left stranded. The taxi company's excuse? "The traffic was bad." And the company couldn't even be bothered to let them know. Our folks only found out when they finally made it home via bus and called Clocktower

Pre-booked a car and it was late - each time I called was told they would be 5 more minutes. After 25 minutes a driver called to say he was leaving now and would be 14 minutes, 40 minutes later than we booked for! Cancelled the booking directly with the office after booking an alternative, yet 50 minutes after the original booking time the driver still called to say hed arrived! Terrible service and not even honest about how late theyll be, which would have been appreciated, barely an apology either!

I used ClockTower Cars three times. The first was a return from a holiday house and we had great service, so I decided to book again for an airport transfer to and from the airport. I encountered so many issues that I will never use this company again:
To the airport:
1/ I was quoted 25 pounds and had opted in for paying cash when booking online. However, I changed my mind and decided to pay be card. I phoned in and was sent a payment link showing the 25 quoted fee. So far, so good - I through great! I'll pay when on route to the airport. I was not warned of any extra charge or fee. However

Horrendous. Avoid, avoid avoid! 45 min wait for a taxi in the cold, despite saying it would be 15 minutes and wed be informed of any delays. It finally arrived after chasing twice and we then had to have all the windows open (again, freezing) because it smelled so badly of body odour. Poorly run business with poor level of taxis. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
