As a professional Surrey wedding photographer and portrait photographer for more than 17 years, I bring a wealth of expertise and experience to your wedding or family photo shoot. My aim is always to make you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. Wedding clients often comment on my unobtrusive style, and portrait clients appreciate my unfussy and friendly approach.
When photographing a wedding, most of the time I am not setting up photos but simply capturing what's happening, looking for those special moments that tell the story of the day. I am based just south of Guildford in Surrey. I photograph not only Surrey weddings but also events in Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire, London and throughout the UK.

Wedding Photography

Deciding on who to hire for wedding photography for your special day is not the easiest task in the world - there are lots of different factors to take into account. In my opinion, the most important thing about wedding photography is not how many pictures you get, what shape the album is, or even what style of images the photographer shoots - the key thing is that you should feel comfortable with having your photographer around.
Wedding Photo Packages

The key thing when choosing between wedding photo packages is to have the right amount of coverage on the day. If I'm not there to photograph it, there's not much we can do about it afterwards! If you're not sure how much time you'll need, give me a call on 01483 600412 and we can chat about the way most weddings run.

Whether your wedding is a grand affair at a deluxe hotel or country house or just the two of you on a distant beach, keep those memories by having an expert eye there to capture the important moments. Wedding photographs grow more important as the years go by - as family and friends age and some are no longer with us.
Couples
Report
As you will have seen elsewhere on my website, most of the time at a wedding I am just documenting what's going on, but at some point during the wedding day, I like to take the couple off for a short portrait session. It's usually about 20 minutes or so, and generally we find a quiet corner of the venue away from the guests.
Reception
Report
The middle part of the day, from when guests gather for drinks through to the speeches, is usually the most relaxed and slow-paced part of the wedding. That doesn't mean I'm not busy - I usually have to organise some group photos, and also find time to get some pictures of the couple on their own, but unless the schedule is very tight I have time to wander around and get some candid photos of guests, which is a process I always enjoy.
