Destiny
At Destiny Driving School, I work as a self-employed female driving instructor in the Abergavenny area. I offer structured driving lessons to a variety of learners, including those who are just starting out and preparing for their driving test, newly licensed drivers looking to improve their skills with the Pass Plus Course, and experienced drivers who need refresher lessons after a break. I also provide targeted instruction in specific areas like motorway driving, night driving, parking, roundabouts, and driving in different weather conditions. Additionally, I help drivers with foreign licenses who want to get a UK license or learn about British driving rules and regulations.

I recognize that each learner is different and tailor my teaching method to fit individual learning styles and objectives. My lessons are personalized using various coaching and instructional techniques, with constant support and ongoing evaluation throughout each session. Each lesson starts with a brief review of the previous session, followed by continuous feedback to help learners make steady progress. Destiny Driving School offers lessons that are 1 or 2 hours long, allowing for flexibility based on individual needs, although 1-hour lessons are only available in certain circumstances. I use a 1.4-liter Vauxhall Corsa with a five-speed manual transmission for lessons, which is equipped with modern safety features, dual controls, and dashcams for both instructional and insurance purposes. I am always available to answer questions and discuss how I can assist you in achieving your driving goals.

Before you can start learning to drive you will need to be 17 and hold a valid provisional licence. You then need to send this to the DVLA with your passport or birth certificate and a passport sized photo. The current fee for a provisional licence is 34.

Destiny Driving School is committed to teaching you to drive responsibly and safely, not just for the purpose of passing your test, but to enjoy a lifetime of safe driving with a mature and responsible attitude. The lessons will be structured to cover all parts of the DVSA syllabus and a range of teaching methods will be used, including the use of visual training aids and dashcam footage.
Testimonials
Report
I had passed my test in 2005 and being a very unconfident driver, subsequently stopped driving. Five years later we had a baby on the way, and the need for me to drive became rather urgent. With Fiona I was able to relearn and become more confident than when I passed. Fiona is very good at making one at ease and incredibly patient.

Welcome to the new Destiny Driving School website, providing information about driving lessons in Aylesbury and the surrounding area. Learning to drive is an important decision and your choice of driving school or driving instructor will have a very strong bearing on the whole experience. From this date onwards, the DSA will add new multiple choice theory test questions to the test.
Nervous Drivers
Report
Many pupils are very nervous of the whole driving experience. Although they like the idea of the freedom and independence that comes with driving, many actually find the thought of controlling the car very daunting and have serious doubts about their own ability. Nervous pupils and those lacking in confidence need real understanding, patience and considerably more encouragement than other pupils.
