Just back from a short stay at Pheasant Lodge. The location is stunning however the accommodation was a bit of a let down. The furniture is extremely old and tatty and the beds were both wobbly and awful to sleep in. Front garden was also lacking attention, full of weeds and overgrown bushes. Such a shame when the cottages next door had perfectly manicured lawns. Definitely wasn't an inviting garden to sit in. Never mind, as much as we'd love to return to the area we won't use these lodges again.

Very good and the accommodation, though a little tired was very good and well provided for, we would go again. The only down side is that it is a bit out in the wilds but lovely views etc, also a couple of good pubs within a few miles for good food on a night

Just got here and its stunning. Beautiful, remote and relaxing. Simply just what was needed after a manic year. The owner was here to welcome us on arrival too. Nice touch! Comfortable, clean and I cant wait to switch off and enjoy for the week. Reivers Lodge is worthy of 5*

Great set of cottages, all close together so you can rent more than one and not be far away from each other. I stayed in Byre, which was nicely decorated with a large living room and a huge kitchen. Great for a big group getaway.

We stayed in Pheasant Lodge and it was fantastic, roomy, open plan, great walks, so peaceful. Ideal for our dog who we think enjoyed his holiday more than us which would be hard to do. Already looking at booking this lodge again for next year.
