MEC produce prototype machining and small batch quantities up to medium sized production runs. Working in partnership with our group company KARENG Mechanical Solutions Ltd, we are able to offer a complete package, from contributing to small design for manufacture (DFM) ideas to a complete design to end product from customer brief, working with our customers to solve technical problems and propose the optimum machining strategy.

As well as general machining of production parts we produce one offs, prototypes and repairs to damaged/worn parts from wide a range of sectors, plant types and materials. We have a range of surplus tooling available including non-standard taps and large drills/reamers. CNC turning using our Mazak Quick Turn series, high performance turning centre that make complex parts accurately and with reduced set up time.
