Stayed over night for NYE we managed to find a good deal online. When we arrived to the hotel we were redirected from what we thought was the car park to the actual car park which is situated near the Royal Mail depot and depending on what way you enter Barrow it is easy to miss. The parking voucher was sorted without any fuss which grants you free parking for the entirety of your stay. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size with a super king bed, however the room needed a bit of TLC but we didn't mind too much. We visited the bar for drinks, they had a good

Lovely room, lovely restaurant and bar. For an executive suit in a 4star hotel was just lacking little extras like water in room and better bathing products

I only went into the bar but it was a lovely experience in that the atmosphere was good and we could talk and still be heard. Loved it . Recommended.

Despite there being a party of 14 to celebrate my 80th birthday we were seated at 3 separate tables each holding 4 with another 2 chairs stuck on the end of a couple of tables. Spread out in a line it didn't seem like much effort had gone into anything. Didn't get much chance to speak to the other people until the night was almost over. They came a poor second to Abbey House who were fantastic.
