Services
Day Nursery
Our day nursery provides full-day care from 8am to 6pm, catering to children aged 05. With age-specific playrooms and qualified staff, we ensure a safe environment that supports developmental milestones through structured and free play activities.
Pre-School
The pre-school program focuses on early learning for 35-year-olds, following the seven areas of learning. Daily activities include cookery, yoga, and outdoor exploration, preparing children for school while fostering independence and social skills.
Play-Based Learning
We use play as the primary method for learning, aligning with research on cognitive development. Activities are designed to enhance problem-solving, creativity, and communication, tailored to each child's age and stage of development.
Parent Partnerships
We prioritise collaboration with families through our online learning journal 'Tapestry', enabling real-time updates on progress. Regular communication ensures parents are actively involved in their child's learning journey and developmental assessments.
Holiday Club
Our holiday club offers care for school-aged children during school breaks. Activities include themed play sessions and outdoor learning, providing a safe, engaging environment for continued development outside regular term-time childcare.

Felt mistreated because of being on funding hours. When speaking to the manager and Sarah they came across rude and didnt show interest in my child. Came home with a black eye which was put as unexplained because they couldnt give a reason for it. Rarely saw photos which were included in price and a video which didnt include my child. Felt mistreated because young parents and on funding. Really would not recommend. Took him out and going back to his old nursery as the standards are much higher and they show interest in ALL their children.

We are delighted with Audlen House. The staff are so caring and strive to create a warm, nurturing family environment for the children. We are impressed with the attention to detail that goes into planning and providing a wide variety of age-appropriate activities that stimulate and engage the children in learning-based play. The staff are happy and know the children well. Our children love going to Audlen and we have total confidence that their best interests are being catered for. We would highly recommend Audlen to any parent in the Thatcham area.

I cannot praise this nursery enough. My son and daughter were there for 1.5 years and 7 months respectively. The staff is very well trained and really make you feel your child is loved there. They went above an beyond my expectations to cater to our dietary needs and make cultural/religious minorities feel included in the nusery. The place is spotless and their food very well balanced. It was really a heartbreak to have to leave!
