Nice and quiet. Rooms clean. Not tried the food yet. But if you are worried about catching the new covid this is your place. The staff doesn't wear masks. Very dissatisfied about it. My girlfriend was here 4 months ago and had an English breakfast, this time only continental and the young man at the desk told her that they have never served that type of breakfast. In essence calling her a liar.

Stayed for one night, specifically to take advantage of the beautiful outside spring fed pool. The hotel website was out of date so I could not swim when I arrived which was very disappointing but I had a lovely swim the next morning. The hotel itself is a bit tired and the owners really dont seem to have invested to make the most of the location and history of the hotel. It was also very understaffed. That said the staff on duty were very helpful and could not have been more welcoming. I also ate in the restaurant which was pretty good value. I would probably not stay again but will definitely

I chose this venue for my proposal to my fiance and I couldn't have been happier to do so. The welcome we received was excellent and staff was very helpful and polite.
Massage we received was top quality, food was out of this world and the room was spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and can't wait to go back again. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so wonderful.

Had a good one night break here, arrived to a first drink free and an room upgrade. Lovely log fire in the bar and a delious dinner with wine, then back to the log fire to chat to other residents. Next day, a good continental breakfast before going to watch swimmers in natural spring fed, large outdoor, swimming pool. Tempted but maybe next time. Wet suits available for swimmers but the water not that cold. Only downer was the temperature in our room. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, thanks to the staff.
