A large amount of staff turnover. I've never been able to keep my original choice of stylist. When I turn up on time, I always, always have to wait because staff have changed. Owner then says she'll do it, I just have to wait for 30 mins. Ends up 45-60 mins. Decent hair trim & blow dry by Billy or the owner, Pauline, 35. Now Billy started his own salon in Abergele. I'm often disappointed with Phoenix but it's better than I could do myself. After 5 visits in 3018/19, only Billy remembered me.

After four hours in the chair and my granddaughters hair was nothing like what she'd asked for, the colour hadn't taken and considering that I took her in beforehand to talk about the style/colour I expected it be done properly.my granddaughter was in tears as it was for her prom, Pauline said for her to come back few days time to put it right and after another five and half hours it was OK but still not what she'd asked for,the toner washed out after one wash and it was orange, I had to go into a chemist and get a toner and do it for her. Considering the bill was 102-40 I'd have expected a professional
