Large Welded Fabrications
We manufacture large-scale welded fabrications up to 12 tonnes for special purpose machinery and aerospace test rigs. Our BS EN 287-certified welders work with steel, stainless steel, and aluminium using modern MIG/TIG equipment. The facility handles components up to 12 tonnes with rapid turnaround times supported by extensive material stockholding.
Laser Cutting Service
Our 4kW ByStar laser cutter processes sheets up to 3000x1500mm with Radan software optimisation. Capable of cutting 20mm mild steel, 15mm stainless steel, and 12mm aluminium, this service delivers precision components within one hour turnaround. We maintain stock of common and specialist materials including CS80 and shim down to 0.0012".
Inspection Services
Our Mitutoyo Crysta Apex 122010 CMM provides precision measurement for large components. With a 2005x1205x1005mm measuring volume and CAD-integrated programming, we ensure dimensional accuracy to 0.001mm. This service supports clients needing verification of complex geometries beyond their in-house capabilities.
Conventional Machining
We maintain a comprehensive range of conventional machines for components unsuited to CNC processing. Our twin-column mill with 14-metre table and lathes up to 1-metre diameter handle one-off prototypes and refurbishment work.
