Fishbourne C Of E Primary School
Our Koala class adventure to CYE is well underway. They were all very noisy & excitable first thing but all settled in well & are joining in their first activity of the day! At our INSET day today we have spent time revisiting our vision and values - most importantly of all starting with our WHY! This is something that is central to how we operate at Fishbourne Primary - we always start with our WHY as it is our core belief that guides all our decision making.

Fishbourne Learning Map

At Fishbourne CE Primary we are passionate about the uniqueness of each of the members of our school but we are also a unique, deep-thinking learning community! We are a values driven school and the Learning Map we have created has been designed by the adults in our school as a daily reminder of our drivers, our WHY!
Admission
Report
Children in West Sussex start school in the September following their 4th birthday. Although children are entitled to start school full time from September, parents may also opt to start on a part time basis or to defer entry to school until the compulsory school starting date which is the term in which a child turns five.
Assessment
Report
How do we make assessments about the progress that children are making in core areas of the National Curriculum? We know our children really well at Fishbourne and measure their progress against a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) that we have developed as a learning community. These can be seen for all year groups by opening the documents below.
