Nursery Care
Our nursery provides care for children aged 0-2 years in a purpose-built facility with dedicated sleep rooms and baby changing facilities. The 1:3 staff ratio ensures individual attention through sensory play, music sessions, and structured routines. Outdoor play areas include sandpits and covered verandas for all-weather exploration.
Preschool Education
Following the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, our preschool develops literacy, mathematics, and creative skills through play-based learning. Children access specialist rooms for art, role-play, and library activities with a 1:8 staff ratio. Weekly themes incorporate physical play and structured developmental activities.
Holiday Club
Operating 51 weeks annually, our Holiday Club offers themed activities like 'Under the Sea' and 'Dinosaurs' with creative play, obstacle courses, and water games. Children enjoy freshly prepared meals and flexible booking options from hourly sessions to full days in a secure outdoor environment.
Breakfast Club
Available from 7:30am daily, our Breakfast Club provides healthy cereals, toast, and drinks before school. Children participate in supervised outdoor play and structured activities before escorted walks to Fairfield Infant School with staff maintaining attendance records.
After School Club
Operating until 6:00pm, this club offers homework support, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. Includes freshly prepared tea with vegetarian options and supervised library access. Children engage in themed activities and structured games while awaiting parental collection.

We accept 15/30-hour government funding with no top-up fees, plus Tax-Free Childcare and all childcare vouchers.
Are meals included in childcare fees?
All meals and snacks are included in Holiday Club fees. For other sessions, charges apply only for meals consumed.
What are your staff qualifications?
All staff are qualified in early years education with enhanced DBS checks and paediatric first aid training.
How do you support child development?
We use the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum with individual Key Persons tracking each child's progress through learning journals.
What outdoor facilities do you provide?

Our daughter is just coming up to finishing her first year at Glenhurst and we are so thankful to the incredible team for giving her such a wonderful first year. Through what has been a turbulent year, Glenhurst has been a reliable constant for our little one and she has been given so many different opportunities to play, learn and grow. Thank you so much to all the staff who work incredibly hard to give our little ones such a bright, happy and exciting start in life.

Both my children attend Glenhurst, my youngest son has joined recently. My daughter joined early 2020 and has absolutely thrived! Friends recommended Glenhurst as their children enjoyed it and the staff were brilliant- both of which is true! I leave my children knowing they are taken care of but also knowing they have so much fun and interaction. Every session my daughter comes home and is full of beans, with little pictures shes drawn, shes developing so well and Im sure my son will follow after. Strongly recommend!!

I could not rate Glenhurst enough. They look after our three year old and one year old with such care and devotion. The activities range widely and my kids just love it there!! Food is also always received well by my kids and healthy. During a very difficult year they put all the safety measures they could in place and always extremely quick off the mark on when new guidance was announced by the government with excellent comms. Thank you Glenhurst for being life savers this year!

My Daughter has attended Glenhurst Nursery and Pre-School for just over 2 years. She was only 9 months old when she stated and I was naturally worried about whether she would enjoy it and be well looked after. The staff were so welcoming and her key worker was brilliant, putting us at ease and my daughter absolutely loved it.
2 years on and I am so thankful we picked Glenhurst. My daughter is progressing really well and has made her own little mini group of friends. The communication to parents is brilliant and is done via the Famly App. This allows me to see updates throughout the day of her

As a doting grandma I have been so impressed with Glenhurst Nursery. They teach so many interesting things. My granddaughter is absolutely thriving and loves it. My grandson started in October and settled in really well. Thanks to all the staff you're all amazing.
